Ostatnio odwiedziliśmy North East Land, Sea and Air Museums (muzeum pojazdow morskich ladowych i powietrznych).
To muzeum było dla mnie wielką niespodzianką, nie ze względu na eksponaty, ale ze względu na ludzi tam pracujących. Muzeum jest prowadzone przez wolontariuszy, którzy pasjonują się starymi pojazdami i samolotami. Podczas spaceru pośród historycznych eksponatów zobaczyliśmy wiele starych aut i innych pojazdów lądowych oraz powietrznych, co było naprawdę interesujące. Przy wyjściu jeden z pracowników zapytał mnie co myślę o muzeum, odpowiedziałam, że jest to fajne miejsce ale szkoda, że taka niewielka ilość samolotów jest otwarta do zwiedzania. Po mojej małej uwadze, ten miły pan zawołał innego wolontariusza i poprosił go, żeby otworzył dla nas ogromny samolot "The Vulcan Bomber" i pozwolił nam wejść do kokpitu, co było naprawdę super!
Recently we visited North East Land, Sea and Air Museums. This museum was for me a very big surprise, not becouse of exhibits found there, but becouse of people who work there. The whole museum is run by volunteers who are passionate about old vehicles and aircrafts. We had little walk among historic vehicles. We`ve seen different types of aircrafts, old cars etc. It was very interesting. Before we left the museum one of the volunteers asked me what I think about museum. I replied that it`s great but it was a pity that not many of the planes were open to access. Than this nice gentelman called out another volunteer , who opened for us a huge aircraft " The Vulcan Bomber", and we were able to get into the cockpit, it was awesome!
